South Pasadena Middle School Upstanders Share Stress-Relieving Activities

On Monday, April 22, South Pasadena Middle School (SPMS) student group, the Upstanders, along with SPMS Train Your Brain Social Worker Fiona McEniry, set up interactive activities during lunch to remind students about the importance of managing stress and to help improve students’ overall mental and physical well-being.

April is recognized as National Stress Awareness Month and is designed to bring attention to the negative impact of stress. All SPMS students were invited to participate in activities like mindfulness coloring pages, shredding their stress, temporary tattoos, and bubbles.
