SPEF Brings The Lion King Jr. to the Stage for Its Annual Fundraising Musical

South Pasadena Educational Foundation (SPEF) and Upstage present the SPUSD production of Lion King Jr.
The Lion King tells the story of the epic adventures of a curious cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destiny as king. Along the way, the young lion encounters a colorful cast of characters, and must find his inner strength and confront his wicked Uncle Scar. Fifth-grade students from all three elementary schools start rehearsing their lines, songs, and dance numbers in October in preparation for Performance weekend in early February.
