SPUSD Recognizes Rachel Fox with Golden Apple Award
South Pasadena Unified School District (SPUSD) extends heartfelt congratulations to Rachel Fox, who recently received the Association of California School Administrator’s Golden Apple Award for Volunteerism.
During a special awards ceremony on February 27, 2024, Superintendent Yantz acknowledged Fox’s more than 15 years of service to the District. Fox served as an elementary school room parent for 12 years, the SPMS Booster Club president, the SPHS PTSA president, and served six years as a member of the South Pasadena Educational Foundation Board of Directors.
Fox also led many PTA programs at the elementary, middle and high school levels. She contributed to various sports, drama and extracurricular activities for students, and received an Honorary Service Award for her work at Arroyo Vista Elementary School.
With an energetic personality and smile, Rachel Fox actively seeks out opportunities to support SPUSD students, teachers, and staff and has devoted countless hours of support and volunteer service to the South Pasadena Unified School District. “We appreciate you!”
