St. Francis’ Diversity Assembly Guest Speaker Ken Nwadike, The Free Hugs Guy

St. Francis High School had an amazing guest speaker for its diversity assembly by the name of Ken Nwadike, better known as the Free Hugs Guy!

Ken is a documentary filmmaker, motivational speaker, and peace activist who rose to notoriety by making major news headlines for his peacekeeping and de-escalation efforts beginning in 2016. He has been featured on CNN, USA Today, Good Morning Britain, and BBC News.

Ken’s work today is aligned with the theme for SFHS’ Diversity efforts this year, words matter. He will be sharing with students how he’s used his voice to help heal and narrow the social, political, and racial divide that exists throughout the country and the world.
