Learning Works and MUSE/IQUE: Making Beautiful Music Together

For years, Rachael Worby’s MUSE/IQUE has been LA’s go-to for cutting edge, multimedia musical performances. Over the last couple years, Learning Works students have benefited greatly from ever-deepening outreach by MUSE/IQUE’s Heather Lipson Bell and Leslie Lopez.

In addition to free admission to shows at the Huntington Gardens, a few times a year, the company sends musicians to our campus in advance of a performance to demonstrate their instruments and play short snippets from their upcoming shows. It’s fascinating to watch the level of student engagement with the musicians when they visit Learning Works Charter School now!
