St. Francis Golden Knights Finish the Season Strong with Home Victory



St. Francis High School closed out their season on a high note, rebounding from a tough road loss with a 28-21 win over Cathedral High School. The Golden Knights’ performance was powered by standout players Elijah Wilson and Alister Chan. Wilson set a new career-high with 194 rushing yards and added two touchdowns  – one on the ground and one through the air – while Chan contributed 113 passing yards and two touchdowns. Dominating the run game, St. Francis racked up 229 rushing yards, leaving Cathedral trailing with just 108.

Despite the loss, Cathedral’s offense put up a strong fight. Quarterback Jaden Jefferson threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns, connecting frequently with Glenn Carrera III, who caught both scoring passes and totaled 123 receiving yards. The victory improved St. Francis’ record to 2 – 8, providing a morale-boosting finish to their season, while Cathedral ended at 5 – 5 after their four-game winning streak came to an end.
