St. Rita Families Create Lovely Cards for Firefighters

St. Rita School thanks its families who made lovely cards to send to the firefighters who were injured in the Downtown Los Angeles explosion back in June. Today, the school received a lovely note from one of “our brave firefighters.”

“Dear St. Rita School. My name is Claudia Aguirre. I am the wife of Captain #2, Victor Aguirre from LA city fire department. We want to say thank you for all the cards we have received while we are in the hospital. My husband wants to thank you all.”

Writing a note is an act of kindness that everyone in the family can participate in and perfect for the community’s first responders, who are fighting everyday to make the community safe. “Sometimes we could all use a little motivation, encouragement, inspiration, or support.”

St. Rita thanks Mr. Aguirre for his service!
