Taking Center Stage: Poly Eighth-Graders Showcase Performing Arts Excellence

Polytechnic School eighth-graders took center stage last week in a culminating performance celebrating their Musical Theatre, Dance, and Tech Theatre classes. The performing arts students showcased a wide range of musical theatre styles, original student choreography, and impressive behind-the-scenes Tech Theatre skills. Set against a backdrop of soft blue lighting, the students shone with heart, creativity, and confidence. The performance reflected months of dedicated collaboration, rehearsal, and artistic exploration across disciplines. Together, the students demonstrated not only technical growth, but also the power of storytelling, teamwork, and self-expression through the performing arts.
