Thurgood Marshall PTSA Calls on Volunteers to Spruce Up Campus
With the first day of school just around the corner, Thurgood Marshall Secondary School PTSA is inviting parents and students to help spruce up the campus and get it ready for the new school year. Parent and student volunteers are needed for a campus clean-up in the Main Quad, and students can earn up to four service hours for their participation.
Thurgood Marshall Secondary School PTSA will have cleaning supplies available, but volunteers who are able are encouraged to bring additional tools, including brooms, rakes, shovels, power washers, and leaf blowers. The volunteer effort is a great opportunity for families to work together while helping create a welcoming and refreshed campus for the start of school.
Every helping hand can make a difference as the school community prepares for another successful year. Volunteers are encouraged to come ready to work, pitch in, and help make the Main Quad shine for students’ return.
