One of Pasadena’s favorite steakhouses in one of its most iconic locations, has reopened after a two-year-plus pandemic shutdown.

The Royce Wood-Fired Steakhouse in the historic Langham Huntington is welcoming guests again. The classic eatery and its wood-fired offerings eagerly threw open its doors again on Friday.

The restaurant features a host of prime cuts, including Australian wagyu and grass-fed beef, all prepared over a wood-fired grill, and served with a tantalizing array of sauces.

A number of the menu’s steaks—the Black Angus Filet Mignon, the Filet Mignon Prime, the Ribeye Prime, and the New York Prime—originate from Aspen Ridge Farm in Greeley, Colorado, while other cuts are delivered from Moyer Farm, Souderton, Pennsylvania; and Cape Grim Farm In Tasmania, Australia, as well as The Icon Wagyu Farm, in Tasmania.

The impressive, wide-ranging menu also includes a dazzling array of starters including Thai Lobster Bisque, and Roasted Bone Marrow, with seafood, including oysters, shrimp and lobster, and a memorable Royce Loaded Baked Potato.

Spanning 23 landscaped acres and nestled between Pasadena proper and neighboring San Marino, the iconic 500,000 square-foot Langham features 379 rooms, three ballrooms, four restaurants, a full spa, and impressive gardens.

The Royce Steakhouse is one of several dining opportunities at the Langham, including The Terrace, with its view of the pool; The Hideaway, directly poolside, The Tap Room, and the Afternoon Tea, with its views of the Horseshoe Garden and San Marino.
