NBC’s America’s Got Talent, hosted by Pasadena native former NFL player and veteran actor Terry Crews, is back at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium for another season of live taping you can experience.
With celebrity judges Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum, AGT needs a live studio audience, and you can get tickets to be there in the crowd before space runs out.
America’s Got Talent celebrates the American spirit and features a colorful array of singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians, ventriloquists and hopeful stars, all vying for their chance to win America’s hearts and the $1 million prize.
Each week, only two acts of the 11 that perform will move on to the finale: one act chosen by an overnight viewer vote and the second picked by the judges from the acts that finished in second, third, and fourth place.
After the final top 10 acts are determined, a Final Wildcard act will be chosen by the viewers in an Instant Save on the Wednesday, Sept. 7 episode. Four of the eliminated Live Show acts, each selected by one of the judges, will vie for this vote.
On the two-night finale on Sept. 13 and 14, the 11 finalists will perform one last time. The winner, chosen by viewers, will receive $1 million and a performance spot in “America’s Got Talent Las Vegas Live!” at Luxor Hotel and Casino.
At the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, you can be part of the star-studded audience and watch the country’s best performers live, as long as you’re fast at obtaining tickets. Just go to https://on-camera-audiences.
America’s Got Talent is taped on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from Aug. 9 through Sept. 14.
There will be two staggered arrival times each day for ticket distribution to reduce lines. The minimum age to attend is 8.
