An Evening of Soulful Melodies with Anna Ash and “Our Wild America”

Published on Aug 14, 2023

On Wednesday, August 16, the Lost Parrot Cafe in South Pasadena will resonate with the enchanting sounds of two distinct and celebrated musical talents: Anna Ash and “Our Wild America” (known to some as Alec Gross). Organized by Brad Colerick’s Wine & Song, the evening promises a rich tapestry of tales spun in melodies and harmonies.

Anna Ash, a talent hailing from Michigan and now lighting up the Los Angeles music scene, is known for her deeply evocative songwriting. Her songs provide a profound glimpse into life, making them a blend of sensuous discovery and startling truths.

On the same stage, will be the intense musings of “Our Wild America”, or as some might recognize him, Alec Gross. Having been featured at Wine & Song during his Firefly days tours, this New York transplant’s return is much anticipated. Alec’s musical narratives delve deep, offering tales about characters lost in the throes of madness and the intoxication of love. With songs that span from the earthly realms of forests to the vast expanse of outer space, he captures shared human experiences in a manner that’s both raw and poetic.

The Lost Parrot Cafe, located at 1929 Huntington Dr. Attendees can look forward to a selection of food and a full bar to complement their musical experience. For those who’d like to bring their choice of wine, a modest corkage of $15 applies.

The doors open at 6 p.m., allowing patrons to settle in, mingle, and perhaps grab a bite or a drink. The real magic, however, begins at 7 p.m., when Anna Ash and “Our Wild America” take the stage.

Tickets for the evening are priced at $22.00 and can be conveniently purchased via the link provided here. For further queries or more information about the event, feel free to call 323-769-3500.
