Arlington Garden, Pasadena’s only free, public Mediterranean climate garden, is hosting a Charity Holiday Bazaar on November 7th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Bazaar is part of an event series held this year to celebrate the Garden’s “Sweet 16” anniversary, and will be free and open to the public.

The event aims to promote, alongside the garden’s own products, local goods and vendors who share Arlington Garden’s values of community enrichment and environmental stewardship, as well as to provide the community a one-stop holiday gift shopping opportunity featuring local artisans and retailers.

The Charity Holiday Bazaar will feature a variety of local vendors such as Hahamongna Native Plant Nursery, artist Margaret Gallagher, book publisher Narrated Objects, candlemaker The Soy Farm, and handmade skincare products from MOSA. In addition, there will be a craft session for children from local lei maker, LA Pua Mama, using materials found in the Garden. Visitors to the event can also purchase Arlington Garden’s merchandise, including our sweet orange marmalade, which is made from Washington navel oranges organically grown in the garden and bottled locally by E. Waldo Ward in Sierra Madre.

Arlington Garden is a climate-appropriate, habitat garden offering learning, inspiration, and enjoyment for all. We endeavor to engage, educate and demonstrate how a water-wise garden that celebrates Southern California’s mediterranean climate can be both beautiful and practical to maintain. Over the years, the mission of the garden has evolved to include promoting urban wildlife habitat and demonstrating the use of regenerative gardening techniques.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization selected by State Senator Anthony Portantino as Senate District 25’s California Nonprofit of the Year in 2019, Arlington Garden is located at 275 Arlington Drive, Pasadena, CA 91105.
