The Maxwell House, a popular historic wedding and special event venue at 55 South Grand Ave. in the heart of Old Town Pasadena, is holding its Autumn Open House Wedding Soiree on Sunday, November 21, starting at 2 p.m.
During the in-person event, you are invited to enjoy a stylized experience featuring complimentary fresh bites and libations, stylized florals, decor, live music and prizes.

For everyone’s safety, all guests and vendors above the age of 12 years old must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and a photo ID to enter the event. Guests with religious or medical exemptions must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event along with a photo ID. Guests who fail to comply will not be permitted to enter the event.
The Maxwell House, headquarters of the Western Justice Center, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
This unique, Mediterranean Italianate-style mansion was built in the 1920s by Marston and Maybury as a private residence for the Maxwell family. It features tile roofing, stucco walls, a strong Palladian entrance, and elaborate detailing. For couples, the Maxwell House offers multiple indoor and outdoor settings for both their ceremony and reception.
On Sunday, tours of the historic 1929 mansion will be offered, and guests will have the first opportunity to reserve 2023 dates.
