My first trip to Ambergris Caye, Belize and I stayed here at Belize’s only Yacht Club. Had a marvelous time and cannot wait to go back. The club is walking distance to shops, restaurants, activities and the town of San Pedro (made famous by Madonna – La Isla Bonita song 1986). Besides walking, the islands main mode of transportation is by golf cart.
Belize is home to the second largest coral reef in the world and if you venture in to the water, you will experience breathtaking views above the water and majestic sights of coral and sea life below, The country is between Mexico and Guatemala but the principal language is English being that Belize is a former English colony (British Honduras) and they became their own country in 1981.
