Descanso Gardens is all set to host the much-awaited Tonalism event by Dublab, in association with LAist. Brace yourselves for an amplified experience of this cherished ambient music spectacle on July 1, between 8:00 pm and 1:00 am. The night promises an immersive feast of live DJ performances, enthralling installations, mesmerizing video art, and the nocturnal charm of the gardens.
Tonalism borrows inspiration from path-breaking musicians and composers like La Monte Young, Terry Riley, John Cage, and Yoko Ono. Mirroring La Monte Young’s Dream House spirit, the event provides an unmatched platform to feel the might of music and sound in a distinct environment.
The night will see Descanso Gardens metamorphosing into a heavenly soundscape, where guests are welcomed to recline, unwind, and soak in the magic of melodies. Come equipped with pillows, cushions, and sleeping bags to build a snug haven amidst the otherworldly audio and visual offerings.
