Enjoy Virtually Inspiring Music On Tuesday

Published on Feb 28, 2022

The Pasadena Senior Center continues the “Music to Remember: LA Opera” series on Tuesday, March 1, a virtual event that’s inspired by the powerful and scientifically proven role that music plays in restoring the body, soul and memory.

Free to watch on Zoom, “Music to Remember” is a weekly, virtual recital with LA Opera Connects teaching artist Nandani Sinha to stimulate remembrance and gently invite reflection through familiar and beloved songs.

Joyful interaction and singing along is encouraged throughout the performance.

Nandani Sinha is a German-Indian American mezzo-soprano who has worked as a teaching artist for LA Opera Connects for over 10 years. She is a favorite mezzo-soprano in Southern California, performing regularly with LA Opera, Long Beach Opera, Santa Barbara Opera, California Philharmonic, and Redlands Symphony. She has been a first-prize winner of the Franz Liszt International Competition and a Marc and Eva Stern Fellow at Songfest.

A variety of artists will also be performing as scheduled. A new performance is available every week on Zoom at 11 a.m.
