Fur, Fun, and Fandom: The Inside Scoop on CatCon 2023

It’s the time of the year when the stylish Pasadenans swap their aviators for kitty ears to trek to the feline mecca circled in red on every cat-lover’s calendar – CatCon 2023. CatCon, the world’s largest event dedicated to all things feline, returns to Pasadena this weekend. 

The convention, which is being held at the Pasadena Convention Center, will feature over 150 exhibitors, experiences galore, giveaways, and the biggest adoption lounge ever.

CatCon 2023 will take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 5th and 6th at the Pasadena Convention Center. Show hours are from 10 am to 5 pm

Simply put, CatCon is like comic con for cat people. 

It’s a place where cat lovers can unite and gather to celebrate all things feline. The convention brings together pop culture stars and cat lovers under one roof. Attendees can expect to see some internet-famous cats like Merlin Ragdoll, One-Eared Uno, Table Cat and Adventure Cat Leo. 

There will also be vendors selling the latest in cat trends, workshops, cat trivia and photo booths.

The event will also include live podcast tapings from “The Purrrcast” with Steven Ray Morris from “My Favorite Murder” and Sara Iyer and the “Double Threat Podcast” with Julie Klasner and Tom Scharpling. Pet food company Royal Canin will host CatCon’s adoption village, seeking to find homes for over 200 kittens.

In addition to all of these exciting events and activities, CatCon is also a great opportunity for cat lovers to connect with each other and share their love for these furry friends. The convention provides a platform for people to meet other like-minded individuals who share their passion for cats.
