The Coffee Gallery Backstage in Altadena presents a special treat for you on Sunday, Jan. 22: “Hello Mr. Soul – A Neil Young Tribute,” a matinee performance, starting at 2 p.m.
Hello Mr. Soul, featuring Gary Wahlenmaier, will be performing a special unplugged show featuring Neil Young’s finest work from his 59 year career as a musical artist. If you love Young’s music and appreciate his genius as an iconic singer/songwriter, you will absolutely love this show.
Composed of some of the best and most seasoned tribute musicians in Southern California, Hello Mr. Soul faithfully and respectfully performs Neil Young’s classics with great attention to detail and a heartfelt love of the music that becomes evident in the passion and intensity of their performance.
You’ll hear all the great songs, “Cinnamon Girl,” “Hey, Hey, My, My,” “Down By the River,” “Heart of Gold,” “Old Man,” “Needle and the Damage Done,” “Comes a Time,” “Ohio,” “Rockin’ in the Free World” and many other classics from Neil’s vast catalog.
