Integrity College of Health welcomed visitors at a pet friendly open house, which also features music, food, raffles, last Saturday.

Gail Godown, Associate Director of Admissions at Integrity College of Health reported great turnout for the event.

“It was great because a lot of people came that didn’t know the school was there, so they got a really good idea of what we do here,” Godown said. “We had a lot of wonderful pets that came, too — guinea pigs, cats, dogs, everything.”

The event was held to inform members of the public about Integrity College of Health’s current programs which include Veterinary Assistant, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Assisting and Medical Billing and Coding.

During the event, students and instructors did demonstrations for the mentioned programs.

The school also showcased its brand new vocational nursing labs, veterinary labs and classrooms.

“We were able to show that off and they were all very impressed,” said Godown.

Some students who attended have signed up for Integrity College of Health’s programs.

“We had several people who came in and toured the campus and are starting with us primarily in the veterinary assistant program
and then the ultrasound program,” said Godown.

Integrity College of Health, founded in 2007, is located at 1460 N. Lake Ave. Its mission is to “provide personal and focused education to students that are passionate about a career in healthcare.”
