It’s Time for That Great Local Tradition: Pasadena Dance Theatre’s ‘The Nutcracker’

Pasadena Dance Theatre (PDT) presents “The Nutcracker,” a beloved Christmas favorite, at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse on Thursday, Dec. 22, starting at 2 p.m.

PDT lets you experience the timeless story, with all new choreography for 2022, featuring guest artists Katherine Williams and Eric Tamm, of American Ballet Theatre, supported by a cast of over 50 dancers. This is going to be a holiday event perfect for the whole family.

Pasadena Dance Theatre is considered an integral part of the local arts community where students and dance professionals explore, nurture, create and discover the blending of music and movement through both classical ballet and contemporary dance, and culminating in innovative concerts and performances.

As a non-profit organization, PDT’s mission is to support, foster and advance the art of dance through educational programs. Your donations support funds the creation of new works, provides scholarships for talented young dancers, and impacts generations through our educational programs.
