One Colorado and Lineage Performing Arts Center are hosting a free drive-in holiday dance performance featuring live music from Chris Pierce at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12.
This is one of the few events that is actually happening in person, but social distancing and masks will be required, as well as additional safety requirements.
On their parking deck at the southeast corner of Fair Oaks Avenue and Union Street, One Colorado will present this Drive-In Holiday Dance Performance starring Lineage Performing Arts Center, with live music by Pierce, the Consummate Soul Man, whose voice and music have been heard in films and TV shows including “The Addams Family,” “This Is Us,” “Rosewood,” “Filthy Rich,” “Soul Men,” “Crash,” “True Blood,” “Brothers and Sisters,” “Single Ladies,” “Eli Stone,” “In Plain Sight,” “Dawson’s Creek,” “Army Wives,” and “Crash,” as well as Lexus and Banana Republic ad campaigns.
His song “We Can Always Come Back to This” charted at No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Chart for consecutive weeks, and No. 12 on the iTunes Top 100 songs.
The One Colorado parking structure can be accessed from Union Street westbound between Raymond and Fair Oaks avenues, and northbound between Colorado Boulevard and Union Street.
The drive-in event is for small vehicles and sedans only. It will be located on the top-level or rooftop of the parking lot which does not have elevator access for persons with disabilities.
