Lineage Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Pasadena is hosting “Lineage Does Broadway” at 6 p.m. Friday and Sunday in a beautiful outdoor setting in a Pasadena backyard. The address will be emailed to those who have registered to participate.

In this live performance, Lineage dancers, singers, actors and musicians will sing and dance their way through pieces from recent Lineage musical performances and Broadway hit shows.

Lineage PAC will follow all state, county and city health guidelines at the time of each performance. All attendees must provide proof of complete vaccination or a negative COVID test no older than 72 hours at the door. No one will be admitted without proof of vaccination or a negative test.

Currently, masks are required indoors at all times regardless of vaccination status. If the event is forced to change its guidelines or cancel altogether, organizers will let patrons know in advance. If the health guidelines prevent the show from proceeding, ticket cost will be refunded.

Lineage PAC, a nonprofit arts organization, was founded by the Lineage Dance Co., which forms the heart of the center’s live productions. It serves as a home for connecting through the arts, where artists are invited to find their creative voice through dance, music, theater, and other performing arts.

Lineage produces its own performances, and visiting artists can produce their own work. The nonprofit also creates opportunities to grow and advance through education.

In 2009, Lineage founded the Dance For Joy program, a series of free acting, dance, and voice classes for people with neurological challenges.

Lineage’s vision is of a community where the arts are accessible to all and includes making sure the center’s neighbors have equitable access to arts education. Seeing itself as part of a network that supports the community, Lineage also partners with other nonprofits to raise awareness and funds for important causes.
