Music to Remember Aims to Restore Body, Soul and Memory

Published on Jan 18, 2022

The Pasadena Senior Center presents LA Opera Connects teaching artist Nandani Sinha in weekly virtual recitals called “Music to Remember,” every Tuesday starting at 11 a.m.

“Music helps us connect to each other, our community and even to our own inner selves,” says a LA Opera announcement. “’Music to Remember’ is inspired by the powerful (and scientifically proven) role that music plays in restoring the body, soul and memory.”

Nandani Sindha’s virtual recitals stimulate remembrance and gently invite reflection through familiar songs. LA Opera encourages joyful interaction and singing along throughout the session.

These recitals are free of charge and by invitation only. Participants can join either via computer or telephone. Each session is monitored by LA Opera Connects staff to ensure safety and security.
