NOOR, Pasadena’s premier event venue, which has hosted thousands of weddings and special events featuring numerous celebrities and dignitaries throughout California since 2010, will host its annual Wedding Show and Open House on Sunday, August 27 with a Parisian theme and a charitable purpose.

The “NOOR in Paris Bridal & Wedding Show” is an experiential event featuring curated culinary delights, complimentary signature cocktails, interactive live entertainment, unique dessert stations, and music, showcasing NOOR’s two glamourous ballrooms, the Ella & Sofia, and gorgeous outdoor courtyard fountain venue, NOOR | Terrace.

The event will feature the finest wedding and event professionals in the area, offering their expertise and services to prospective clients. With Sunday’s event, NOOR said they intend to create a unique and engaging atmosphere catering to attendees planning an event and those who enjoy great food and entertainment.

“Unlike the majority of wedding shows I have attended where they have 20+ vendors in every category lined up along row after row in a large convention center-type setting, we handpicked 1-2 vendors in each category to showcase their services directly to the attendees, allowing them to experience their work first-hand along with opportunities for one-on-one engagement with them,” Robert Shahnazarian, Jr., NOOR President and Sr. VP of Sales & Marketing said. Mr. Shahnazarian also noted that each year, the planning process for the show begins with aligning with an event planner & designer who has successfully produced numerous events at NOOR and is well respected by NOOR’s management team.

“After we partner with our event planner, we brainstorm on a theme for the event and begin to align with professional vendors who can help fulfill this vision,” Shahnazarian continued. “This is truly a curated event whose vendors are chosen based solely on their merit and expertise, which builds tremendous trust with the attendees coming to the show.”

This year, all proceeds from ticket sales for the show will be donated to the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House, which provides lodging and support for families with critically ill children seeking medical care.

Shahnazarian said that “supporting and strengthening our community through the services we provide” has been a core value of our company ever since our grand opening in November 2010.

NOOR donated food throughout the community during the first six months of the pandemic, delivering food to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House and other facilities, supported the Police Activities League (PAL) Golf Tournament, and participated in Union Station Homeless Services Annual Masters of Taste Food Festival, among others.

“The decision to donate 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales from our annual Wedding Show + Open House to the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House continues this tradition,” he said, adding that about a quarter of the events we host each year are fundraiser galas that raise money for non-profit organizations, churches, and private schools.

Shahnazarian added that since 2010, NOOR has provided over $1,000,000 of in-kind donations to non-profit organizations whose events are hosted at NOOR to support their fundraising efforts.

“Accompanied by live music and entertainment, this event will present the perfect atmosphere for mingling with the finest wedding and event professionals in Los Angeles and conjuring inspiration for your upcoming event at NOOR,” according to NOOR’s website.

NOOR’s Wedding Show and Open House will occur from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 300 E. Colorado Blvd., Suite 200, in downtown Pasadena. NOOR is located on the second floor of the PASEO, with easy access to over 3,000 self-parking spaces and complimentary 90-minute validation. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased online at www.noor.com or at the door.
