The Walk for Kids 2023 event, held on Saturday, April 29th at the Rose Bowl, was a resounding success, with over 2,000 supporters coming together to show their support for the Ronald McDonald House Pasadena and Ronald McDonald Charities of Southern California (RMHCSC). As the largest community fundraiser across all RMHCSC programs, the event raised much-needed funds to keep families with hospitalized children together and near the care, comfort, and critical resources they need.

The campaign aimed to raise funds for local programs supporting the families of the Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Westside Los Angeles Ronald McDonald Houses, who must travel outside their communities to access long-term medical treatment at local hospitals. The Walk for Kids 2023 also supported the largest child oncology camp in the nation, Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times.

The event created a wonderful sense of community, where children and their families could embrace life and healing with a sense of hope, enthusiasm, courage, and joy. The funds raised through the Walk for Kids 2023 will help provide crucial support to families in need during some of the most difficult times of their lives.
