Pasadena-Based Foundation That Helps Working Women Who Need Medical Care to Host Annual Fundraiser

Bloom Again Foundation, a Pasadena-based nonprofit that supports economically vulnerable working women when they encounter medical challenges, is hosting its annual fundraiser, “That’s Entertainment: Pure Imagination,” on Sunday, Oct. 8 at the Chevy Chase Country Club in Glendale. 

The event, celebrating the organization’s 15 years, aims to raise funds to provide rapid-response financial assistance to working women facing medical challenges and living at or near the poverty level.

“We are grateful to our sponsors who understand the importance of supporting vulnerable women with medical diagnosis, provide the necessary hope, and help them in their healing process,” Rosetta Henderson, co-president of the organization, said. 

Henderson said supporting women with financial aid is essential in each woman’s self-care by allowing them “to be free of anxiety over the potential loss of shelter.”

Tammy Tumbling, executive vice president and COO of the Orange County Community Foundation, will be emceeing the event. Attendees can look forward to enjoying mimosas, brunch, silent auctions, live auctions, opportunity drawings, and entertainment by Dr. Dee & BYTHAX.

Sponsorships for the event range from $1,500 to $5,000, while individual tickets are priced at $100. Tables for 10 can be purchased for $1,000 each.  

The Chevy Chase Country Club is located at 3067 E. Chevy Chase Drive in Glendale.

Established in 2007 by Dr. Lois Frankel, President of Corporate Coaching International and bestselling author, Bloom Again Foundation is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that provides rapid-response financial assistance for living essentials to working women living at or near the poverty level when an acute medical challenges stretch their already limited resources.
