Fans of “The Wizard of Oz” are in for a rare treat starting on Friday, March 12, when the Pasadena Civic Ballet presents a drive-in version at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse, up to Sunday, March 14.

In this limited capacity event, you and your family can watch “The Wizard of Oz,” featuring guest artists Petra Conti and Eris Nezha, from the safety and comfort of your car.

Conti and Nezha are former principal dancers of La Scala and Boston Ballet.

Your ticket includes a “Picnic in Oz” munchin’ box catered by San Marino Cafe, which includes picnic favorites, like chicken and macaroni and cheese, plus over the rainbow kabobs. As an option, you can order a bucket of Emerald City cotton candy for $10 each.

Tickets are $45 per passenger who’s 2 years old and above, with options for up to eight passengers per vehicle.

Each live performance is up to an hour. You may have to choose your schedule and book early, because spots could run out fast.
