The Pasadena Educational Foundation and the Pasadena Unified School District’s Food and Nutrition Services Program will be hosting the first of two drive-thru holiday meal drives on Tuesday, Dec. 22.
The event is intended to help PUSD families struggling to pay for food. A second event will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 29.
During both events PUSD families can pick up meals curbside either at John Muir High School, 1905 Lincoln Ave., or Norma Coombs Elementary School, 2600 Paloma St.
Breakfast and lunch is provided between 9 and 11 a.m. on both those days, according to a Pasadena Educational Foundation announcement.
The program is solely for picking up meals, which are not to be consumed on site.
