Salad/dessert of mozzarella and watermelon. Drizzle with aged balsamic and add watercrest or basil.

If you’re planning a special family barbeque or dinner for the 4th, the Pasadena Certified Farmers Market will be open this Saturday, to help with the shopping.

Fresh corn, a summer favorite, has arrived, along with watermelons, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries for your fresh desserts.

According to Market Manager Gretchen Sterling, the Saturday-only open-air market is open for in-person shopping with a safe, single entrance and a number of exit points. Face coverings are required per the Pasadena Health Department to enter the market.

The Pasadena Victory Park Farmers Market is at 2925 E Sierra Madre Blvd, Pasadena. From 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Face covering required.
