The Pasadena Senior Center presents The Magnificent Monuments of Paris’s Pere Lachaise Cemetery on Cultural Thursdays, the online series, starting at 2 p.m. Thursday.
During the lecture, Annie Laskey, Pasadena Senior Center’s director of events, will speak about Pere Lachaise Cemetery, one of the most famous in the world because of its remarkable combination of the beautiful, the historic and the macabre.
She will share her own photographs of the site along with tales of the cemetery, its monuments and some of its renowned inhabitants – just in time for Halloween!
