Sushi Roku in Pasadena is offering a boost to your otherwise boring weekend menu with a do-it-yourself sushi dinner kit for the whole family.
The popular sushi chain now has a DIY Hand-Roll Kit that’s available for pickup or delivery. The kit comes with a complete instruction guide and a platter of ingredients that includes albacore with soy chili, salmon with soy truffle, spicy tuna, snow crab with spicy mayo, yellowtail with yuzu kosho, nori or soy paper, sushi rice, vegetables, ginger and wasabi.
The Hand Roll Family Pack for two to four people, which makes from 12 to 14 hand rolls, is available for $65, and the kit for four or more, which could make 25 to 30 hand rolls, sells for $120.
DIY kits are also available for pickup or delivery from Sushi Roku branches in Newport Beach and Santa Monica.
Along with DIY packs, Sushi Roku also has fully prepared sushi family packs. Specialty cocktails, beer, wine and sake, signature specials, and the dinner menu are also available for pickup or delivery.
Sushi Roku Pasadena, at 33 Miller Alley, also features on-site, outdoor dining spaces with a full menu.
