Tepito Coffee Roasters, a Mexico-focused specialty coffee brand based in Los Angeles, will host a special food pop-up event in Pasadena on Sunday morning.
For this event, Tepito will collaborate with Chef Chris Flint and Chef Darline from @losboludos.
During the event, the chefs will prepare a special menu, including aguachile rojo and various desserts, providing attendees with an opportunity to pair these dishes with their favorite Tepito beverages.
The event promises a perfect summer vibe, starting from 10 am and lasting until the food is sold out.
Tepito is known for its aim to connect and uplift communities both in Mexico and the United States, with a particular focus on breaking cycles of incarceration. The company partners with Veracruz, Mexico-based coffee growing and roasting company Caffe Pecora 19º09´ for sourcing and production, and with the non-profit Homeboy Industries for staffing within its Los Angeles operations.
Revolve Impact creative agency founder Mike De La Rocha and Emmy-nominated actor and writer Richard Cabral co-founded Tepito, and they work closely with Caffe Pecora Co-Founder Carlos Avendaño Mendoza to ensure quality and branding of Tepito products. Tepito has been eyeing future expansions into different coffee products, such as ready-to-drink cold brew and single-serve instant coffee packets.
