The Rose Bowl is inviting beer aficionados to sample suds from a selection of local craft breweries when Craftoberfest returns to Brookside Golf Course Saturday.

The event will include a “socially distanced outdoor dining experience” at the Brookside Golf Course restaurant, and each ticket includes a flight of six four-ounce pours from craft breweries such as Smog City Brewing, Eagle Rock Brewery, El Segundo Brewing, Brouwerij West, Paperback Brewing and Mumford Brewing, according to the Rose Bowl. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“This food and drink experience will provide each guest with a delicious adventure for their taste buds influenced by the world’s largest ‘Volksfest’ (beer festival) in Germany,” the Rose Bowl said in a written statement.

Snacks including beer-braised bratwurst, beer cheese tacos, and beer cheese nachos will be served, and the restaurant’s full menu will be available for sale.

For those more fond of wine, a wine flight from JUSTIN Wines and Landmark Vineyards will be served.

Flights of ginger beers from Reed’s Ginger Beer and root beer floats will also be available, along with a special kids’ menu, organizers said.

The event is open to all ages, and dogs are welcome. Guests must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol, and a valid ID is required.

Tickets cost $22 each and include a flight of beverages, a souvenir glass, and a Bavarian pretzel, Rose Bowl officials said.

Guests who wish to sit together must purchase their tickets under the same reservation.
