STAFF REPORT
Published on Jun 27, 2023

The ability to learn new things and have new experiences doesn’t diminish with age. If anything, the potential for learning and new experiences continues to expand and is essential to healthy aging.

The Pasadena Senior Center, 85 E. Holly St., offers dozens of classes for members ranging from exercise and fitness to dance to hobbies and special interests.

As the July 7 registration deadline for summer classes approaches, members and nonmembers of the Pasadena Senior Center can sample the most popular offerings for free by attending 30-minute mini-class sessions, meeting the instructors and learning more about the courses.

Known as Class Tasting, samplings of 14 of the 37 classes will take place Wednesday, July 5, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Thursday, July 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Some samplings will be onsite at the Pasadena Senior Center and others will be online via Zoom. Everyone who registers for a sample class via Zoom will receive an email link to the Class Tasting.
