Tired of singing alone in the shower?

The Pasadena-area choral group Towne Singers might have the perfect alternative for you.

The non-audition choir is currently in need of male voices but is welcoming anyone interested to join its family of musicians.

Towne Singers is a nonprofit organization supported by member dues and arts grants. Yearly membership is $125 for the fall season, which covers music costs and operating expenses.

The group has continued to work during the quarantine — with virtual rehearsals — and has recently completed a virtual recording of one of the selections planned for the 2020 Spring Concert. They are scheduled to begin virtual rehearsals on Monday to prepare for a winter performance to be scheduled.

Rehearsals are held from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays via ZOOM. The Towne Singers is an organization supported, in part, by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.

Interested sopranos, baritones, altos, and tenors may call (818) 275-4117 and leave a name, phone number. and email to receive an invite to the ZOOM rehearsal.

Write TowneSingers@Gmail.com, call (818) 275-4117, or visit http://townesingers.org.

I have been involved with Towne Singers now about nine years. I intend to continue. It is great to learn new music and refresh selections sung in years past. I it great to be involved with such a variety of people who soon become your musical family. Come on and join and let your song out.
