Maybe you already know Slater’s 50/50, that place in Old Pasadena, on Raymond Avenue,  with beef and bacon patty hamburgers the size of small skyscrapers?

The non-stop burger celebration spot is celebrating Independence Day all July long with the return of the fan-favorite, annually awaited ‘Merica Burger

This gargantuan creation will be available for a limited time only at a few Southern California locations, including Pasadena.

The ‘Merica Burger reaches for the sky with a bacon-packed stack—a full pound of ‘Merican meat: two 100% bacon patties, bacon Mac and Cheese, bacon coleslaw, bacon island dressing and a half-bacon, half-beef hot link grilled and dipped in Frank’s red hot sauce.

If that seriously isn’t enough for you, you might want to consult a professional. But until then, pair that superstructure with crispy onion rings, classic fries, or sweet potato fries, and drown them in housemade bacon ketchup.

It’s $21 now through July 31st.

As Ernie Romo, Chief Operating Officer of Slater’s 50/50, said in a recent announcement, “We’re known for putting our own ‘slaterized’ spin on each burger, and this ‘Merica Burger is no exception. With summer in full swing we wanted to give our guests an extreme bacon-filled burger to fully indulge in.

We’re thrilled to offer a burger that includes all classic 4th of July favors in the palm of your hand,” he said, neglecting the fact that you’ll need hands the size of Shaquille O’Neal’s.

The ‘Merica Burger is available through July 31st. More information on Slater’s 50/50 and their locations, is available at www.slaters5050.com.
