Tanous, senior director of talent acquisition at Northwestern Mutual, will address the monthly Friday Coffee Meetup on August 1 at FoundrSpace in Old Pasadena. Her presentation will focus on building recruiting strategies that align with company core values while offering guidance for values-driven job seekers.
“In today’s competitive landscape, the success of any organization—regardless of its size—hinges on the ability to attract, retain, and foster top talent,” Tanous said in her presentation abstract.
The free event runs from 8 to 10 a.m. with networking beginning at 8 a.m. and the formal presentation at 8:30 a.m.
The Friday Coffee Meetup has grown from 12 to more than 3,000 members since its founding in 2013.
Tanous brings more than 15 years of experience in talent acquisition.
She earned her SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification in January 2023. Before Northwestern Mutual, she spent five years at Bluebeam Inc., progressing from senior manager to director.
