Why Not a Little Fun Music on the Patio? Steve Ormond Entertains

Musician Steve Ormond will be performing a fun mix of Tin Pan Alley, Rock and Roll and novelty tunes on Thursday, November 18, for Music on the Patio at the Pasadena Senior Center, starting at 2 p.m.

This is a free event where you can sing along or kick up your heels and dance. Space is limited, so register early by going to www.pasadenaseniorcenter.org/index.php/activities-events/special-events/112-music-on-the-patio-steve-ormond and clicking on the Register Online button on the page.

A professional musician for over three decades, Steve Ormond plays a variety of instruments, specializing in the keyboard and accordion.  Originally the musical director of a melodrama/vaudeville theater, Ormond’s musical career over the decades has included performances at the Edinburgh Theater Festival and involvement in a variety of bands playing classic rock, Latin, jazz, Dixieland and ragtime. He performs regularly at a variety of venues and events.

Ormond, currently based in Thousand Oaks, has been an elementary school teacher for 30 years, and uses music daily in his classroom.
