When Alan Chapman takes the stage at the Pasadena Senior Center on Thursday, Aug. 7, audiences will experience French classical music through a live multimedia journey featuring orchestral excerpts, intimate piano solos, and vocal masterpieces.

Chapman’s presentation, “A Few More Frenchmen (and Frenchwomen),” runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. as part of the Summer Masters Series, spotlighting its remarkable 41st year of bringing college-level cultural education to the community.

The multimedia presentation will feature orchestral and solo piano excerpts, vocal pieces, and visuals of score passages and composer portraits, offering audiences an immersive exploration of French musical traditions.
