South Pasadena Middle School 7th Graders Take to the Outdoors at Pali Institute

From November 10-12, 2023, 109 South Pasadena Middle School (SPMS) 7th graders attended the Pali Institute’s outdoor education program, located near Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino National Forest.

While attending the camp, students had the opportunity to experience science and the outdoors. They chose from a variety of activities and courses including high ropes, archery, squid dissection, outdoor skills, team building, and ziplining among other exciting events. Always a highlight for seventh graders, Pali activities help teach students skills such as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving in an outdoor environment.
