Broad Range of Disorders, Impairment Treatment at Vincent Physical Therapy

Most people don’t think about seeing a physical therapist until they’ve had some life-changing physical injury that impacts their normal day-to-day life. Physical Therapist Michel Vincent, owner of Vincent Physical Therapy of Pasadena wants you to know his practice can help you in cases from catastrophic impairment to minimal distress and suffering.

Vincent, who has more than 30 years experience in physical therapy, says his practice specializes in musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, as well as post surgical repair and reconstruction rehabilitation. He insists that patients work with the same therapist and not an assistant and they make sure patients understand their condition and are involved in their rehabilitation. Michel Vincent works in Pasadena together with his partners Dean Chuang MPT and Dan Woodworth PT, MOMT, who are also Physical Therapists.

Serving residents of the San Gabriel valley for over 25 years, therapists at Vincent PT use proven skilled manual therapy techniques to reduce pain, optimize mobility, and teach proper movement patterns.

A native of Canada, Vincent holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont and a Master’s in Orthopedic Manual Therapy from the Ola Grimsby Institute. Raised in Montreal, his athletic abilities love for ice hockey took him across the border to Vermont on a scholarship.

After graduation, Vincent moved to the California and began developing his physical therapy skills working first at Pomona Valley Medical Center and a few years later at Orthopedic Hospital in Los Angeles. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and enjoys spending time with his family and three children.

“Quality is very important here,” Vincent says. “For us, it’s one-on-one. We’re hands on and patient education is a big thing here. People need to know what they can do to involve themselves in getting better. Exercise, especially in long term chronic conditions, is a big part of resolving the problem. Patients should find a way to assist, because the more you are involved, the better.

“Everyone is an individual and everyone has their own goals. We try to work with them individually so they can achieve whatever they want out of therapy. We don’t have a template here in dealing with patients, but we tailor our work to their individual needs,” Vincent concludes.

Vincent Physical Therapy is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and same day appointments are available. Located at 2700 E. Foothill Blvd., Suite 121, you can call them at (626) 449-4347 or visit  www.vincentpt.com.
