2019 Southwestern Academy’s Annual Science Fair

Southwestern Academy’s annual Science Fair delivered with thirty experimental projects, a giant Rube Goldberg, and a Rookie Tech Robotics Club robot! Six judges made their way through Lincoln Hall to speak with students over their experimental procedures and outcomes. The Rube Goldberg project, whose end goal was to put jam on a piece of toast, struggled in the beginning, but managed to complete its task.

Although SWA’s robotics club was not being judged as part of science fair, they did work on their robot and demonstrated it to onlookers during the fair. First, second, and third place winners will be announced early next year.

“We are so proud of our students!”
