Kindergarten Program at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School Enjoys Amazing Start to New Year

Kindergarten has had an amazing start to the 2021 school year. The students’ day consists of many opportunities to get up and move around, dance, sing, use manipulatives, watch videos, and listen to stories. They have been continuing their studies in literacy while reading texts about snowmen.

In religion the students just learned about the Epiphany and the meaning of this special day. Social Studies have focused on Martin Luther King Jr, Ruby Bridges, and Rosa Parks and their key contributions to our society. Science has been a world of fun while the students learn about animals of the Arctic with a special focus on penguins and polar bears.

The students are excited to soon be celebrating their one hundredth day of school. They will be 100 days wiser! Please view our open house video on the school website for more information about ABVM’s amazing Kindergarten Program.
