Active Minds Assemblies Held for South Pasadena High School Students

Speaker Dave Romano talks to SPHS Students about embracing who they are and supporting each other.

The South Pasadena High School Peer Mediators, along with their club advisors and school administrators, recently organized a presentation by Active Minds. Students listened to speaker Dave Romano discuss his personal journey with depression throughout his life and were encouraged to recognize and seek help in moments of despair. Through campus events and national programs, Active Minds aims to remove the stigma that surrounds mental health issues and to create a safe environment for open conversations.
