Aveson 7th Graders Return From Astro Camp With Curiosity in Warp Speed

Aveson Schools’ 7th graders recently returned from Astro Camp in Idyllwild, where they spent the week channeling their inner Starfleet officers through hands-on experiments, physics challenges, astronomy deep dives, and even some “gravity-defying” rock climbing. Students embraced each challenge with excitement, often surprising themselves with new skills and discoveries. The experience strengthened their teamwork as they collaborated, problem-solved, and encouraged one another through every mission. They explored like true cadets, pushing curiosity to warp speed and uncovering new frontiers with every activity. Aveson continues to boldly go where no one has gone before with its passion for experiential learning, proving once again that trips like these make an incredible difference. And now the real question is—should Aveson start a Starfleet Academy?
