“Thank you Blair PTSA for the teacher grant, allowing me to purchase protist cultures to share with my students learning about cell anatomy! There were a lot of “oooh!”s and “eeeww!”s as we looked for organelles, made detailed observations, and considered how they were living things. We got to see the *world’s coolest* protist – the STENTOR! After we completed our work, the protists were released into my classroom aquarium, per Carolina Biologic’s guidelines. I am curious to see if we will be able to find these protists in aquarium water samples at the end of the year?” ~ Mary Ann Kelly
