Carver Elementary School and Del Mar Field Removed From San Marino’s Draft Housing Element

At the most recent San Marino City Council Special Meeting, the City Council voted to remove both K.L. Carver Elementary School and Del Mar Field (1740 Del Mar Ave. San Marino, CA 91108) from its inventory list of properties included in the City’s Draft Housing Element for potential rezoning in order to meet the State-mandated housing allocation requirements.

The San Marino School District would like to thank the City Council for understanding the needs of the School District as well as their thoughtfulness in listening to the voices of the community. The School District would also like to express its gratitude for everyone involved in this process, from long time residents, community members, teachers, staff, our parents and students.
