Chargers Impact Fund Hosts 21st Annual “Bikes for Kids” by Surprising 150 Students at Washington Elementary STEM Magnet with New Bikes

Chargers running back Kimani Vidal, tight end Oronde Gadsden II, and linebacker Tuli Tuipulotu will help present the bikes alongside cast members from the hit football drama series ALL AMERICAN.

The Chargers Impact Fund, in partnership with the Bikes for Kids Foundation and Pechanga Resort Casino, will host the 21st Bikes for Kids initiative to SURPRISE more than 150 students at Washington Elementary STEM Magnet with brand-new bicycles. Adding to the excitement, cast members from ALL AMERICAN were invited to team up with Chargers players RB Kimani Vidal, TE Oronde Gadsden II, and LB Tuli Tuipulotu to help distribute the bikes just in time for the holidays.

Students were asked to participate in an essay competition earlier this month. They believe only a few select winners will receive bikes as a prize, but instead the entire school will be surprised with new bikes during a special assembly. Bill Pollakov, co-founder of the Bikes for Kids Foundation, will host the assembly and reveal the surprise after the winning essays are read.

This event continues the Chargers’ commitment to fostering joy, health, and empowerment among children in Southern California communities.
