Five PUSD High Schools Earn National Recognition in 2026 U.S. News Best High Schools Rankings

Five Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) high schools have earned national recognition in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools rankings. Blair High School, CIS Academy, John Muir High School Early College Magnet, Thurgood Marshall Secondary School, and Pasadena High School were nationally ranked among the nearly 18,000 public high schools evaluated nationwide. Rose City High School was also recognized by the district as part of this year’s achievement.

The recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of PUSD students, educators, administrators, staff, and families as the district continues to accelerate academic achievement, strengthen instruction, and expand access to rigorous college and career pathways for all students. PUSD is #PUSDproud of the schools and students represented in this year’s rankings.
